Our Kids

sure do love my kids! They are so good and even when I get stressed they are still good! I can send them out to play and the will leave me alone! They love to play with 2 of their best friends Cadence and Easton! They also LOVE to take care of their little brother! I seriously was so afraid to have the 3rd child but now looking back at the last 9 month it has been great! Our family is complete! Dallyn is the happiest baby! I think having Dallyn has almost helped Bryson talk more! But all three of them play so well together I am excited for Dallyn to start crawling and chasing them :0)

Bryson is going in for his kindergarten assesment and I hope he will pass. He is very shy so this should be interesting but we have been building up that he gets a new teacher all summer and he is so excited!

One thing he told me that totally caught me off gaurd was on tuesday. I had told my kids to come in for lunch or to take a rest but anyhow I started to count

"one....... TWO....

"I am coming" bryson said!

"TWO...... TWO in a half....

"CALM DOWN MOM" bryson said!

I couldn't help not to just start laughing so hard! For him to say somethign along those lines was very impressive!

Also, we went to park city over the weekend. He was in desprate need of shorts for school. As I was looking in at Carters there is a lego table with 2 chairs. Bryson goes to sit down with Lilly.

Well, Lilly decided to run to dad and tell him what they were doing. A little boy then run to steal Lilly's chair and Daddy hears Bryson telling this kid off!

"No you cant sit there. My sisters sitting there.

You need to move. Thats my sister spot"

I was so shocked to hear what he said but then again he is always protecting Lilly!

Dallyn will be 9 MONTHS on sunday! I did his check last week while we happen to be at the doctor. He was 19 lbs 6 oz (35%tile) and 28 inch (32 %tile) and i don't remember what his head was but it was in teh 25% tile! Dallyn is my shorty and weighs the least! Dallyn is so funny he has started to try to get up on all 4! He hasn't figured out the crawling yet, he is almost there and lands on his tummy when he moves. He just rolls around!I love my kids and I would have never imagined me with 3 great kids!

Month of July

Well I haven't posted for a really long time and I can't believe now that July is just about over. We have had some fun times and some stressful and all of the above! After the 4th we packed up and went to Lake Powell and were suppose to be there for a week. There was a total of 40 people on the house boat and 12 people ended up gettin ghte 24 hour stomach bug. Two of those people was Daddy and my poor little Dallyn. Dallyn ended up coming with it and through up the night before we left. But as for being in 110 degree weather Dallyn would only eat 4 oz and that was Screaming and didn't want to eat. So finally on Wednesday we made the decision to leave that night. We ended up getting home at 1 AM. Bryson was not happy leaving nor was Lilly. Bryson was a complete fish. His life jacket had rubbed his poor chin raw and had scabs all over! It was a good thing we decided to leave cause Bryson then started to complain his ear hurt. So I took him to the doc on Friday and he had double ear infection and was put on antibotics. Throught the weekend he was still complaining so I was like that should have been helping by now but we went back in on monday and his ear canal was infected so we had to do drops. I can't imagine if we had stayed and he was in the water all day thursday! He was seriously in that water every minute except to eat!
We also had Miss Lilly's 4th birthday. She wanted to go to the zoo. So both grandparents met us up there and we went to the zoo. She had so much fun but it sure was hot. I still can't believe my little baby girl is 4!
We have been working on the yard and got a fence and boy was that a fun haha... Daddy said it wasn't that bad. I still need to take a picture of the yard now but boy I have a backyard now. As some people may not know but the people up above us have like a 8 foot drop so we raised the fence 2 feet so he could eventually do his yard, yea right cuase its been 5 years and there are 10 foot weeds back there and mouse infested its gross. The fence hides all of that and now I have a Yard! Thanks to our neighbor for all the help!

Bryson my first child is NOW going to kindergarten starting on Monday, I am starting to freak here a little. Where do I drop him off, Where do I pick him up at with all the other moms?
All in all Lake powell was fun, it was fun working in the yard with my husband and watching the kids play, going to the zoo but I am sure glad that the hottest month is almost over!

Own Beach

Ok so our neighbor is a great guy but man Mommy was done with the sand! Our neighbor is doing his yard and actually helped us finish our playground (pic coming soon on that) but he ordered 40 TONS of sand and it was dumped in front of my house. Lets just say our house is covered in sand and it needs a deep cleaning. The kids in are circle had a blast but the sand is almost gone I bet all the moms are glad!

While one the neighbor friend was here, her son acidentely hit bryson with a metal shovel in the back but seeing how a GREAT guy our neighbor is he actually grabbed Bryson and took him for a ride in the Skeedster and boy did that make it all better and he forgot all about his owie! He had the biggest grin on his face the whole time. We are so lucky to actually have a good neighbor now.

Also we have gone to the splash park out by us and the kids love it. Dallyn sat in his bumbo seat as for he HATED the water! The other kids just ran and ran. We had the whole splash pad to ourselves. It was great. We want to go check out more splash parks though.

I had to add this picture cause Dallyn loves to do this birdy call I swear and while he does it he squeezes his eys and his nose and his mouth is wide open. After trying and trying we finally got it on video.

Kung Fu Panda

So we finally went and saw Kung Fu Panda and that is a must see movie. Very very cute! I still couldn't believe how much it was to go to the movie thank goodness we had a gift certificate from my parents from chirstmas, just been waiting for a good kids movie to come out. The kids LOVED it. We ended up even taking Dallyn. he was really good till the last 10 minutes so I had to stand with him. As we walked out of the Movie theatre a martial arts group was there performing and they have a special going, Free uniform and 2 private lessons. We are totally going to try that with Bryson and put him in Karate! I think he will like it I hope!

Also this weekend we built a 40" retaining wall so we could finish the last 10% of our yard and put the swing set and trampoline up there since we designed it for the playground just never got around to it. Our neighbor had a mini tractor thing and flatened it out last weekend then this weekend we build the wall and back filled it. Let me tell you that Mommy and Daddy were dead! We still couldn't believe we got that all done. We even had Bryson out there working! Now we are hoping to get gravel if our neighbor gets it for cheaper! Also my neighbor and I went and tried Jazzercise! Granted it was REALLY fun But we went 4 times on our free week and I only liked 1 teacher. Also, on the days we didn't go I was doing Jillian Michaels DVD's at home and boy does she kick your butt! I fill it more with her dvd then Jazzercise! So said to say that I won't be doing that. I have 2 little reminders that push me and also yell at me "MOM do your WORK" It is so funny! I still can't believe my picture though. Daddy's mom made a picture book and saw on of my "elephant" pictures and then i saw the one with the kids. I lost a total of 85 lb and even having a baby i am still down 75! I have 10 more lbs of Dallyn which really isn't that much! I can do it with my kids saying " Do you work mom"I really do hate that picture but as Daddy's Dad said it was a part of life and you can just improve and that I have So thanks Dad I will try and appriciate all those pictures too cause it just shows how far I have come! i will have to have Daddy take a Better picture and post it!

We had one of our favorite neighbors move and boy was it sad! Iam trying not to judge the new neighbors but they were in and out so many times yesterday! It will be intersting with teenegars leaving and coming all the time like yesterday and we will all have to watch the kids I think a little more closely! We ended up couting all the kids in our circle and there are 31 under the age of 13! Most under the age of 6 crazy I know!

Saturday

This last weekend the kids were excited that one of there cousins were coming to town! We decided it would be fun for them to go fishing! It was lots of fun and I still can't believe my son was playing with worms and using tweezer's to seperate them..... typical boy I guess or more like his dad since daddy wouldn't just rip a worm in half. Anyhow each of the kids caught two fish some trout and some pokey ones. It was fun too see my daughter replacing my spot with my dad (seeing she is the only grand daughter so far).

The funny story about the fishing trip I guess was I was holding Dallyn and tried to cast out Bryson fishing pole for him. Well the hook decided to get hooked to the doc and since it was a side way cast the pole went out of my hands. Daddy saw the hook still in the wood so started pulling the string and after awhile up came the fishing pole. We were all excited. But then as DAddy opened it too see how to replace the line he DROPPED the the part that holds the string into the pond after all that hard work. So more or less yes we owe Bryson another fishing pole.

When the kids were done fishing they decided to play with a construction cone and see how was the stongest.... But then there was my little Lilly that was just a girl and would roll the cone! Then Bryson that would throw it also with his is cousin. It was lots of fun having him here for the weekend!

Bryson and Lilly

As we just finished up dinner Bryson wanted to do the dishes but the sink was getting clogged. It had been like this for almost 3 months but we just plug one side and turn on the garbage disposal. Anyhow Daddy went to go help and as he turned on the garbage disposal it BLEW UP! There was water everywhere. We both had asked the kids to go get big towels in the hallway. Well as the come running as we said "hurry" they have handfulls of toliet paper. We just both started to laugh and tell them how cute they were and then to go get the "big colored towels". Daddy had said "ok now I will use the snake" well there was concrete in the pee trap pipe. Don't know how but there was. Now it should be fixed. But the kids sure gave us a good laugh tonight.

LILLY did it!

So Lilly has been riding her bike now for along time now and she was so ready for those training wheels off. She was scared out of her mind. I am serious out in the circle for 30 minutes hanging on to her and her bawling! I had to keep pushing her to go and she would say "no i don't want too" but she finally did it right before Bryson came home then she got excited to show brother then dad. She still has a hard time starting off but man was she ever so stubburn. I can see why her teachers think she is delayed just like Bryson. She is too funny!

The new walmart out by us opened yesterday so we decided to go grocery shopping and check it out. It was alot of fun. The kids saw the Hot dog car and even went inside it! They thought that was the coolest thing. They also saw a blue dog, the cheeto's man (just a blow up costume with man in it) and an oreo man. Lilly was scared to death of the cheeto man but Bryson wanted to chase him through the store! Wish I took the camera in!

BRYSON!

So for some of you know that Bryson was going to maybe go to a Diagnostic Kindergarten. More or less that is a kindergarten that has 12 kids instead of 25. But it was so far from the house I said we will try Normal and hope we float. I know I will have to work Hard with him but he is so smart. Yesterday and last thursday was HUGE for him. He took some bugs to school on thursday and he told me he was going to count (his teacher said he only counts to 4 I said "umm no he counts to 11) anyhow when he got home he said "i didn't want to" So I told him to get in the car and we went and he counted. At first he said no to the teach but then I told him too and he did! So yesterday I thought what the heck, send his bugs and see if he will do it without me there! Well at 1:45 the teacher calls me and says " I just wanted to let you know Bryson did awesome. He counted his bugs IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE CLASS" I was thrilled you have no idea! That was huge and I wasn't there. He wanted a happy meal for counting so when he got home we got in the car and went. We even called Daddy and Grammy and He told both of them that he counted at school! Now that he got a car in his happy meal I ask him "How come you got that car" He says "I counted at school"! We are very proud of him!

Also, scared me to death but I was doing Lilly's hair and all of a sudden I hear this "you ok" and out comes Bryson and Dallyn from their room! Bryson some how got Dallyn out of his crib! Dallyn wasn't crying but it was a little scary but you can tell Bryson loves his brother and didn't want him whining!

Crazy Weekend

So my kids love to go to Lowes now every other saturday and Home Depot once a month to build things. Its a great thing to do and get out of the house and the best part of it all it FREE! The kids have built an Ant Farm, Memory Box, Sail Boat, and a Pencil holder! The love building. Everytime we say we have to go get something from either store they ask "is it time to build". Its great having each store right by us!

Saturday of course was a build day at Lowes so we left at 10:30, then went to our nephews baptizm, to the park right after and then hurried like crazy to the kids soccer game! After that we came home and weeded the back yard and planted the garden! We are attemping this year again! Hopefully it will turn out good LOL! ( Bryson 13 and Lilly 3)

Daddy's work is being a little funny right now. Seeing this his is last week there YEAH they keep saying "you aren't leaving" I guess he said that today his manager has said it like 7 times and he has been at work for 4 hours. It will defenitly be weird having him go back to a normal work week since he has been on 4 10's. This job will help daddy with his degree also. He has now decided to go towards his bacholors in business which won't take too long.

At church yesterday I had noticed Dallyn 2nd tooth had just BARELY popped up. I can't believe he has 2 TEETH! Bryson got his teeth right after each other but he was 7 months old. So our little guy is a month ahead of the schedule but that ok we still love him!

This Weekend

Daddy has graduated it was a Great day and we are very proud of him. Bryson, Lilly and Dallyn were VERY good for being in that gym for 4 hours. Dallyn I had to take out a couple of times to get to sleep but other than that I was very impressed. We have some very good kids! They thoought Daddy's hat was the best. While Daddy was putting his gown on lilly said the cutest thing "Daddy you have dress like ME" We just started laughing so hard. It was cute. Also, Daddy got a new job. He will be an underwriting clerk! It will be a good switch! He starts May 19 and his boss at sportsmans keeps telling him he isn't going to be quiting LOL! They asked him if he could get him more money but he said "no" cause he knew they couldn't pay him what he would be getting.

On another note, Dallyn is growing pretty well. He was 18 lbs 5 oz (75%tile) and he was 26 3/4 inches (75%tile) and I couldn't remember the numbers for his head but that was in the 25 %tile..

He has put him on some more medication to help with his reflux cause the old doctor never would and I only asked him twice so hopefully this will help him. The new peditrician was very nice and was very good! He also wants me to start feeding him solids more like the fruits and vegetable. LOL. We have to put on a CIRCUS for Dallyn to eat just his rice cereal at night. So this should be very interesting we might be wearing his food!

All the kids love Playing out back even Dallyn! I have loved this weather it has been perfect! We will be out most of the week this week if it doesn't get too cold! Bryson at soccer was the BOMB! He scored all of the teams goals. There was another little kid that was really good and they would somewhat pass the ball or at times they would fight over it. But the team won 4-3! Still can not believe Bryson. Lilly was even able to kick the ball a couple of times. We will see what happens next week at soccer!

One of my good friends that moved back to DC had sent the kids a butterfly kit. We watched the catapillars grow, turned into their cacun and then watched them hatch. We let the butterflys go this weekend since it was going to be warm. Here are some pictures of them before we let them go. The butteryfly wouldn't stay on Lilly. Daddy says it must be a smell. So thats why it was placed in her hair. He finally got one on her shirt but that was hard. it really liked Bryson. So my Mary you better get back here to Utah! The kids keep asking to come and see you!
