The Farm and Zoo!

Right as my kids were going off track I read on a friends blog saying that she was sad her kids were going back to school (they were on the track break right before my kids), I thought to myself "I am dreading my kids off. I wish there were no breaks" I don't' know what changed, I guess I have; but I am SAD that my kids go back on Monday and I wonder where did the 3 weeks go! It has been so much fun hanging out, going to parks, Jungle Jim's, the zoo, the farm, and hopefully later this week the kangaroo zoo!

Today we went to Wheeler farm and had a Picnic with Daddy! It was so much fun. Bryson decided he wanted to feed the ducks the rest of his sandwich. Well yes we were bombarded with ducks and geese! The kids were making Daddy and I laugh so hard! Dallyn was ok at first then all of a sudden freaked! Climbed over daddy! Bryson RAN fom them and had to dodge the ducks to get back to us! Poor Lilly had to just stand there cause of Dallyn freaking but she stayed close to her daddy!
We saw Baby pigs and goats. They loved them and we had to go see them a couple of times. Dallyn was so obsessed with all the tractors and had to go sit on all of them!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have to say if you haven't been to the zoo you should go! It was alot of fun and I surprised my kids with seeing there best friend up there! They all had alot of fun seeing the new baby elephant, tigers, monkey, giraffe, and I am sure I am missing another baby something... I know there was a baby snow leopard but he wasn't out! Dallyn loved my friends wagon! The kids had a blast and it was perfect weather! Here is a picture of the red panda eating for my friend.

Dallyn more...

Dallyn's stats and his little family party! Another Party on Sunday

Dallyn had his check up today and he is one small little tike. He was in the 25% for weight and height. Where we are comign from having Bryson in the 100% thats a huge difference! He was only 26 lbs and 33 inches tall. He may be small but we sure love him!

Here is Dallyn blowing out his semi Truck cake candles! He is so stinken cute!

He gots lots of cute toys and a very cute Gap outfit. My mom got him a Gap outfit that is so cute! She got him a 2T which was on bit on the large size but he will grow right....... he looks so cute it in as we tried it on him. I mean he is 2 Right, seems kinda silly buying a 18-24 month outfit I must say! So we will roll the pants and the sleeves!
His big present was a trike from us! He was so excited! He has been on it all night long. He hasn't known what toys to play with! He also got 2 discovery toys from us since I was at one point and time a consulant and had them not played or used. Might as well use them for a good cause my Baby boy!

Happy Birthday Dallyn!

Dallyn is turning 2 in the morning and MOM can't believe it!

Here is a little bit about Dallyn!
~He knows 5 signs and says only 5-6 words. But he is starting to imitate us. Were only 8 months behind so were doing good. He finally said "da-da" last week!
~He says Oooo-li for Oakley and Lu-la for Lilly!

~He loves anything that has wheels on it. He will even try riding his toy cars that are like 9 inches off the ground.

~ He is a monkey, he climbs over EVERYTHING and has as soon as that boy was walking!

~HE loves doing anything and everything that his brother and sister is doing. He is just one of them.

~ I love his big hugs and his snuggles

~I love it when you ask him , if he wants to go to time out he says "NOU" and shakes his head. Its just so cute how he says it.

~He loves his ride on toys. Now that he is tall enough to reach the ground barely and make himself go at the age 2!

~He is starting to wear clothes that bryson wore at 9-12 months! Tells you how Big Bryson was and How little Dallyn is.

~He loves his dog, even though the dog eats his food. No wonder why he is so small.
~He does not like food that much! He is a VERY VERY picky eater.

~I love how he tells me to "Go" at a stop light! or when he wants to run!

~ most of all I am glad he came to our family even though he may be our wild man ,he sure is so much fun and keeps us on our toes!
We were thinking of getting him a little 4 wheeler for his birthday but as the kids were out on the jeeps, he can reach the petal on Bryson. Since Bryson has just about out grown his, I figured he can just have Bryson's. Catch is, Bryson has to teach him how to steer, but he said he was totally fine wtih that... This is what my big sweet boy said about his jeep...
"mom, we need to wash my jeep so we can put a bow on it and give it to dallyn for his birthday!"

So needless to say we just went to toys r us and the kids picked out some toys for their brother they love so much!

More to come!

Halloween

I got the idea of my kids gutting out their own pumpkins from my sister in law. I thought "hey if her kids can, I'll be darn, my kids will..." Bryson did great, Lilly did a good job for what her pumpkin had!. She had to pick out the most SLIMEST pumpkin out of all 5 pumpkins. As mom did Dallyn's, Daddy had to help on Lilly's. I dont' think I have seen that gross of a pumpkin! Dallyn of course was in bed! He kept trying to climb into the pumpkin guts! One Wednesday we had Mommy's family side Halloween party. They had a game with a donut you couldn't use hands to eat. Dallyn cheated... His donut was gone first :). It was funny to watch the kids! It was fun. The great pumpkin came to the house and delivered a pumpkin basket to each of the kids. We went down to Daddy's side Halloween Party, but this one was at a barn. The kids Love the barn. Everytime we go see this aunt or down in the area we have to go see the animals! It was alot of fun with the horses, motorcycles and just having fun. I am still suprised my little giraffe got on a HORSE! He has been a little scared lately of getting by them. Must be the giraffe making him invisable :)
Then off to trick or treat! I had to make sure we made it out to Bryson's old resource teacher. He is the best we Totally miss him so much. We go out to see him at least once a month. He is the one that taught Bryson a ton of math last year and now he is adding! He is doing Awesome in math.

The kids Trick or treated for 2.5 hours. We made it around are whole subdivion but we were one of the last out. But we saw the coolest house ever. IT scared the crap out of poor dallyn as I walked the kids around. He was on my shoulders and a skeleton swung forward like it was going to hit us. Dallyn all of a sudden was down off my shoulders and was hiding...
We came home to tell daddy about this house and he had to go see it. Ghost, goblins, witches, skeletons gallore. It was a haunted house in it self. Dallyn did better showing daddy, he still hid as things JUMPED out at you. Wish I had a picture of it. But everyone here has at least a 1/3 acre land and his whole front was PACKED! I am sure I will have 1 kid in our bed tonight to get some hugs cause of scary dreams

Bryson

As Bryson had his eyes tested twice by the school nurse one said that he was 20/50. I decided as the second note came home it was time to take him to the eye doctor. I had asked my cousin where she went and we ended up there. It was so nice there casue everything was digital. They came up wtih his RX, then dilated his eys, then retested him as they were dilated and the RX was the same.

Last year I got a note home too and I took him in, but last year was just a normal test. I swear he didn't get a accurate test last year. Ends up he is far sided!
I had asked him "do you see the board your teacher writes on"
He then reply's "only when she uses dark colors. When she writes with lights I can't see."

Well he can now see the board but as I tried his glasses I can't believe how strong his RX is for a 6 year old! Boy doesn't he looks like a stud though!

It is taking time getting used to the glasses. He does EXCELLENT wearing them but not so good being careful. We have been to the eye place 4 time in 12 days getting them fixed. He either pulls them out, steps on them or Dallyn gets to them. Good thing for a 2 year protection plan :)
