Disneyland

Mommy and Daddy were able to go to Disneyland for Mommy's birthday. We figured it all out and since I basically received birthday money it was basically paid especially since you get in for FREE on your birthday. Daddy's mom watched the kids Wednesday night, Thursday and half of Friday! She was asking us on Wednesday night when you guys leaving, "I said oh about 3". Well the storm was coming in and so we ended up leaving around 11:45. The rain was bad all the way past Scipio. But we made it. We got to Disney around 9 but couldn't check in till 2, we we went to breakfast and drove more and TRIED to find the beach.... We got lost and of course Daddy didn't bring a map. LOL.
Somehow between then I got really sick with that nasty cold that has been going around. So after we checked in I crashed for about an hour. Then we decided to go find a chili's (gift card and it was free) well WE drove the wrong way on on the road I swear like 25 miles. When it was the opposite way of 2.5 miles! After dinner I was going nuts of sitting in the car all night and day and not being able to walk around or work out, I said we have to go to downtown and walk around! So we were there till about 11:30 (I only had 3 hours of sleep in 48 hours).
Off to Disney at 7:00 to buy Daddy's ticket and turn in my free one. We were on rides right away and they were fun. I DID NOT like space mountain. I hid my face the whole time. I think my favorites were Indiana Jones, and then Big thunder mountain. We went on that one i think 3 times. Of course we had to hit the characters that were out. Disneyland also just started the Block party Parade on Friday also. It was fun to watch but wow lots of people again. Daddy got a good movie of Pooh Bear Jamming! The kids loved that video. We watched the firework show and then decided to TRY to go on the roller coaster again but it was broken. SO trying to get somewhere was a nightmare... I heard one guy say "you would think this is like a fire hazard" with all the people EVERYWHERE. you couldn't even walk and strollers hitting your feet! I was done then. We were out of the park by 10:30 and went to the shop in dowtown Disney and it was EMPTY.

We then were going to drive home on Saturday and stay in Vegas but I called to check in on the kids. Lilly had a fever of 102 and Bryson had a persistent cough . So there was our answer to just drive home. As we hit the canyon between Mesquite and St. George I called to tell my sister we would be home around 12:30, she said she was bandaging up Lilly cause her son turned on the treadmill, Bryson hit the speed 5 and Lilly fell and burned her chest. Least it wasn't anything worse and she was ok just has band aids.
We had fun in Disney and it was fun to get away from the kids whether we were just in the car or on rides. Missed them so much and am glad to be home. Now wish I can take them to Disney!

Success

I thought I would share that I actually ate SOUP! yes food that wasn't a popsicle! My uvula is also shrunk a ton probably why I feel a little better. I am just so excited to eat soup!

I was trying to be superwoman though that set me back this afternoon. I got so tired of taking the pain med and I didn't want my sister to drive all the way out here to get Lilly from dance so I said to myself "I am just taking Tylenol so I can pick Lilly up". So I took 1 Tylenol at 9 AM feel asleep around 12:30, then woke up at 2:30 just crying to my sister that it hurt so bad and I was trying to not take the meds so I could drive. I was told I had to go take my meds and she would get my Lilly bug. She more or less told me I can not allowed to pull any of this again.

Complication

My sister came out today to watch the kids while Daddy went to school. Well she only said we need to call the ENT cause she too has had her tonsils out and that wasn't right! We called and and she explained the situation that I wasn't able to eat and really difficult to drink, and the pain med's were barely taking the edge off. She also told her the main concern was that my uvula (the hangy ball in your throat) was 5 times as it was suppose to. Yes, doing a tonsillectomy it is ok if it is occasionally swollen but this swollen not likely!

The nurse finally called back and said "we are calling you a 7 days of the steroid to bring the swelling down"

I then asked, "is this common"

Her reply, "Common that we know how to treat it but no not everyone gets it. Kinda unlikely".

Just my luck! This is why we were in the ER Tuesday night but the doctor knew nothing and just said oh its scabbing over go home. So here I am literally barely alive and this is all I basically do is lay in bed! I wish I had a different surgery cause this one was bad! I am just hoping I will start feeling better and able to eat at least a popsicle without dying! Granted I have loved the weight loss :)

Surviving!

I am surviving barely! Friday and Saturday were like great! I honestly was thinking "so this is all the pain is, this is tolerable. Daddy doesn't need to take next week off. I can handle it." I went to sacrament on Sunday and then it hit me. Daddy took me home immediately! I was hit by a bus car or well everything! The pain has been horrible and lets say I haven't left my bed much! We are alive and I will somehow get through this.

Daddy has been off taking care of the kids using up his PTO and well he went to apply for a job today and left Lilly with me! Her bus comes at 11:00 ish and he left around 9:30 so she laid in bed with me. Well I remember Clifford on, then I was out! I woke up and barney was on and the bus was almost here! Lilly had done her hair so PRETTY! I loved it so much Truly i did! She was a big girl got her shoes on and was ready for school! This is her!
My Big boy is always taking caring of me, checking on me and running in to say "momma boy!" He loves to snuggle and make me feel better!
On a happy note, last week for family night we made rootbeer floats. After we made them on Sunday at my parents the kids loved it! It was with all the kids and even Dallyn loved them!
We love to play outside! I am so glad that it is suppose to warm up this weekend and hopefully I will feel ok to go outside. I will have to say that Bryson is starting to look alot like one of the 27 cousins! Can anyone of you guess who he looks like?

He looks like a little Doll! Too little to be out running with the big kids!

Not Too much!

So lately there hasn't been too much going, but I thought I would post.
First Bryson had Parent Teacher Conference and is doing excellent! He is reading at like a 1st grader level or higher. He is learning alot of the phonic words in resources and that his resource teacher said we need to stop with the books coming up and really push the phonics cause he is reading so far ahead! But it was very rewarding seeing everything that my smart little boy has accomplished. I can now proudly say that I made the right desicion for my son by NOT sending him to the Diagnostic Kindergarten where they wanted him placed. I can't even imagine how bored he would be there!

Second, I got my tonsils out yesterday! Yes it does hurt and It sucks that I have had to be on pain meds. I hate pills so bad but seeing that I even have to take them every 3 hours is worse! It has been better tongiht and I have really tried to stretch it to 4-5 hours. Pudding is still a no go. Jamba juice Daddy brought me and I didn't care for it. He even tried a Icee and that I didnt' want. If you really know me well I live for Icees too so this is weird! But I am up and doing stuff probably that I shouldn't but hey mom's never stop do they!
*I will try to have Daddy take some pictures of me tomorrow or something!

Third, Daddy is desperatly trying to find a new job this month so if you hear of ANYTHING please let us know. Doesn't really matter what it is just so he can have somethign part time or full time!

So on a funny side note I can't wait till it warms up! We were over at our friends and Dallyn LOVED being outside just running around all of the kids did. But when Dallyn fell all of a sudden the hands go up fisted! He wouldnt' touch the ground for the life of him and he would sit there till Big brother or sister came to the rescue! Totally cute! I didn't have my camera with me either but he sure does want to go outside and I am sure he will fall again.... camera will be ready!

The kids are all so much fun and getting big I can't believe it. It is so fun to watch them grow and learn. Its been a rewarding week with Bryson and the kids!
