Oakley update!

Oakley has been a pretty good dog just until Sunday night. All day monday he was laying around and then if i touched his paw he would yelp. Bryson would try to pick him up and screams. Doesn't walk on his poor foot. Finally around 2 I start calling vets we get him in around 4. He had his xray and hte poor dog broke his FRONT left pinky! we have no idea HOW or really when he did this. I hope he heals fast. He is still a good dog except when he is outside running from me! :) He is still a happy dog and likes to play whether or not he is in this splint. He has to be in it for a whole month. POOR DOG!

Missouri

About 2 weeks ago, The kids and I went back to Missouri to have a memorial service for my grandma that past away in April 30. We buried her ashes next to my grandpa. We had a good time. I am not posting pictures of the grave just for the sake the family name.My sister got the best picture of me and my mom that I just LOVE! My mom hates pictures but this one I should Hang up in my house, it is the best!
Here are some pictures of Silver dollar city in Branson. This was my kids first amusement park cause they have ALWAYS hated rides! Maybe we can go see M-I-C-K-E-Y now that we like kiddi rides. Of course we went on the day that was RAINY and cold. If you have ever been to missouri with there humidity its like I want to say our WINTERS. When it would be 55 I swear it felt like our 35! Yes I am a whimp to cold.Funny about the guns. My dad put money in for my nephew and bryson and they were shooting then it was over. Lilly goes "what about me PAPA." Guess she is a Pink Tom boy. But the funny thing is she out SHOT both the boys and got every duck. Too bad mommy won't allow guns in the house. :) They will just have to wait to go shooting with dad till umm I have no idea when I will allow it :).
The next day we went to my dads cousin's farm the kids rode the tractor and thought that was so much fun! On his property there is also a stream that they fish on and catch frogs. Lilly did catch one. It was fun too see people hearding cows that escaped. Also, on the property there a airplane runway and hanger. The kids thought that was cool! Here is my dad, his cousin Paul and my kids!I just love this picture for some reason. This is my dads cousin Crazy Paul. I talk to him alot online. He is now like another Grandpa to my kids! They are all so nice and Great people. Later that night we went over to Paul's for dinner! His wife made the best dinner, it was all so yummy! They have been married for 52 years! Bryson sure misses their dog Rowdy! I am sure Rowdy misses the kids too and playing with them! Dallyn thanks you for all the milk he drank :)

Last but not least the pool! the kids loved it but I was freezing! Dallyn was chattering by the time he was done. Do they not heat an indoor pool back there. Sure didn't feel like it!

All and all it was a fun trip! I will not lie, It was harder then I though by myself with 3 kids. One that would back talk towards me consitatly, and one that is in the complete terrible two's and would of course not eat! I was glad to come home wtih the help of daddy! He does so much for us and I love him so much!

Reflections

As we were back in missouri (more pictures to come for that trip) we were at the cemetary buying my grandma's ashes. My sister ended up giving Lilly my camera. Usually I don't let her use my camera but I was already fighing Dallyn with his behavior so I didn't care. Well I thought oh this is a really cute picture that she took I should enter it in reflections. I took the kids to school today and saw reflections due OCTOBER 9. ARE YOU SERIOUS that is today, oh and its early day. So I already am having it printed and when she gets home from kindergarten she will finish her statement. But I must say for just turning 5 it is a mighty good picture!

Photo Session

This last Sunday we went up to my cousins baby blessing and this older gentlmen that was sitting behind us was playing with dallyn says....

"I want to take pictures of you son"

Daddy and I just looked at ourselves like who is this crazy man...

Then the man said "I just have and itch for him and I would really like to try to use him in a book"

Then Daddy and I just said "umm ok"

The man then introduced himself as Dave Newman a professional photographer and has written like 4 books. After the baby blessing people in my family was asking me was that Dave Newman. I called my dad and he was like yeah Dave and I were friends, seeing my dad does some photography. I guess its a small world.

But after all that was done I got a free photo session of my son and there are still more pictures to come here is the first one he has sent me. After the session he then asked me "Its not very often a photographer stops you in your tracks is it."

Everyone kept telling me with Bryson to get him into modeling but I never did. Maybe I should with Dallyn but I don't think I want that lifestyle hence why we never did with Bryson. They can just be cute as can be and I can enter pictures in for contests is as far as I will go.

Dallyns Room!

Finally the kids rooms are done... Next project to paint the living room.... umm what color..

The house

I finally got Bryson's room painted. The bright yellow just had to go. Luckily the had Lilly's room painted just perfect and I loved it. Dallyn's room will be the next project tomorrow or some of Friday but I have a really cute idea of how its going to be. I can't wait. Then some paint for my room....Needless to say I love my house, Love the people in the neighborhood and ward so far! It is a big adjustment having 50 kids in a primary and only 1 class PER age group. The nursery has 5 kids I think Dallyn is the 6th! It is great and is very diverse.

Oakley

As we are basically all settled into our new home that is wonderful, we also took on a new puppy! We had made a down payment on him in May which at that time there were no plans to move. Then June came and I said I was listing the house. Well I still made that down payment on the dog so what were we suppose to do. Luckily, 2 days after we moved in, Oakley joined our family! It has been crazy at times but now I can't believe I got the whole house basically unpacked and decorated in a week! I will take pictures of the house another day!Also, Bryson is now a Shark. Bryson some how got a candy wrapper stuck in his teeth and Daddy went to see what was going on. All he said is "OH MY GOSH we have to call the dentist". We called the dentist, our brother in law (and that day we had just seen him just 4 hours before) and he said "its ok, his tongue will push the teeth forward. Well I guess I got one wish my son won't have a gap for school pictures this year cause he already has teeth. We are waiting for the tooth fairy to come as soon as they fall out! He eats an apple a day hoping they will come out. They are just about there.

Hair cut!

I decided it was time to get Dallyn a hair cut since Lilly put his hair in pig tails yesterday! This is what he looks like before with his "MOP" as we call it.This was the feathering sissciors I couldn't believe all the hair that came out.
I can say he looks more like a Boy now. The lady told me most moms cut their boys hair at age 2. Don't know if I will be ready for that!

House

Yes we are moving but as for when??? nobody knows! We of course had to buy a house from a relocation company and they are holding us up big time! We are suppose to close the end of this week HOPEFULLY! The kids are lucky and get to go on permit to a different school cause of issues with the neighborhood school and they got the track that starts next week! Hopefully by the end of next week we will be in the new house and we can't wait for this to be all said and done! just so hard on to when to schedule moving trucks, helpers, and CARPET to be installed! some day over the rainbow................................we will be in the house! but her is a glimpse of my new house! I can't wait the kids have a huge yard to run around and the kitchen is perfect!

Family

We had some family pictures done back in June and we got the disc. i would have to say it was the worst day possible for pictures! It one of the saturday just pouring RAIN wouldn't stop. We said we can try it and so we did! We tried for an hour and a half and after that it stopped raining and the sun was up but as most people know with a 20 month old you just to hurry and get pictures! Dallyn was done! But I must say I got a couple of them that keep growing on me.

Also, we have passed the house inspection adn I don't think the buyers will be backing out. Some stress is gone now. We have about 3 weeks left and then we will move to the new house! We can't wait. The schools we are working out the problems and so far we have a special permit to another school also, waiting on another school till friday to see if they are full for Bryson! I almost with the stress I have been under would say to anyone "rethink moving if at all possible" :)

I am so sad that Bryson started school today! Becuase of all the rain we had, It feels like we haven't had a summer. We have gone camping once when we went to moab, swimming a couple times and not as much as I would have wanted! This summer was totally unfair for the kids but we will make it up to them with a awesome swing set at the new house! I can't wait!
