Camping and Playing

So from our last post Daddy was going to take the kids camping and he did. From what Bryson tells me that it was really cold "like a freezer" "My hands were red and ice". He was so funny when he came home and told me all about it. They went up to Spruces on a Friday night and I talked to him after Daddy made pancakes. That was the real first time he talked to me on the phone. Of course I started to cry he was just telling me all about it. He also said he missed me and Dallyn. Lilly didn't talk to much but she was telling me how cold it was too.

Then after they packed up camp they went for a hike with Grandpa. They were EXHAUSTED! They hiked around Silver lake and then up to Twin lake and all the way around it. They had so much fun feeding pot guts. They also loved there water back packs. They are little hikers.
Dallyn oh Dallyn is ALL over the place now. He is so different then Bryson and Lilly cause they didn't really crawl till like 10 months and Dallyn was 9. Lets just say if we go play in the basement Dallyn heads to the Stairs and up them! The other 2 didn't even do stairs till at least 17 months partially my fault cause then we didn't have a finished basement and no stairs so they didn't need to know them. But Wow Dallyn is quit the kid I tell you! He is also walking with his walker. I would suspect he will be walking on his on within 2 months. My mom made this awesome blanket that Dallyn just loves. He loves to snuggle it. We also had Daddy's work party and the kids got their faces painted and they have never wanted that. It was sad cause I forgot we had daddy's cousin reception to go too so they had to get their faces washed.
Also, Daddy replaced his clutch in his car! It only took an entire weekend and then a thursday off work. The first clutch was defective cause it worked for only 100 miles and then as I was driving it I couldn't shift. I was finally able to get it into second and third and just drove home as fast as we could hoping to not get stopped by stop lights. I had Bryson with me and It was scary. When we got home Daddy took it to a car shop and he said it fine on the outsidebut who knows on the inside. They wanted 500 bucks to drop it and put it back. Since Daddy had already done it twice he was not going to pay for it. So last thursday he took it all apart bought a new clutch and it works great now. We are so proud of him for doing that himself.
I am almost done with the twilight series. I am in part 3 of the 4th book. So the first book was good the second I had done in 1 day. 3rd took me a couple days and the fourth wow is taking the longest. I will get through I just don't like jacob's parts but hey its all good! But I can't wait for the movie to come out and I will have a ticket with my neighbor to go to the 12:01 Showing LOL!

August where did you go!

So I have been meaning to post now for like 2 weeks since Lilly started school, we went camping (Dallyn's first time), Went to the Dinosaur Museum or AKA Dino house and just hanging out with a 40 degree drop here. Hanging out with my niece was so much fun. We went to American Eagle and Buckle looking for some school clothes for her. She got some stuff and we had fun. As We were having problems with the stupid phone as I was on the phone with qwest she was playing with the 2 little ones and this is what I saw. I love this picture even though my SON is in a lady bug Build a bear outfit!! She is the best Love her lots! We went up to Granite Flats with the ward camp out it was fun. As always as we head up there we stopped at Wendy's for dinner in Highland cause I was not going to make dinner there. The ward provided breakfast so I didn't have to bring any food. Basically just drinks. I packed us and we went up. We only had 4 sleeping bags but I figured oh Me and Dallyn will fit that's no biggie. We did fit but couldn't really move around. Lets just say it was a LONG night. That night they brought a pinata for the kids to hit and Bryson loved getting candy, they also had smore's and boy My son knows how to make the perfect golden brown roasted marshmallow. He loved making them for Daddy and I. So we left and the kids were sad but we survived one night with an infant. As for the kids I am guessing this week they are going camping with daddy. They keep telling me " Mommy you are staying home with dallyn and we go camping with daddy!" So that's how it will be.

After the ward camp out we stopped by my sister in laws Barn. She has horses, chickens, turkeys, GOATS, and I swear something else I am forgetting but the kids love it and the best part its a free farm! LOL! the kids loved holding the goats and chasing them.

My 5 year old now Mr. Bryson has become so Independent its not even funny. He loves making his own sandwich, own cereal and anything he can do by himself! Here is his sandwich which he had 2 Jelly's and butter on it but he says it was still the best sandwich he has had.. YUM!
Miss Lilly started school. The bus comes and gets her and its great! She is still really shy and doesn't talk much in school which is why she gets to go where she does. I think it could be that she is stubborn and a little anxiety. She says she loves school! This is my favorite picture of the two of them! Then there is little Dallyn, my baby is 10 months TODAY! I still can't believe how small he is. He has gotten up to average for height but he is still short. All of Bryson's clothes may not fit this winter cause Dallyn is still in 9 month and when Bryson was 10 months he was in 18-24 month clothes. But that's ok we still love him like crazy! He now has 8 teeth, is crawling, and he is standing up! He is growing up so FAST I can't believe it!
We also went to the Dinasour muesum since it was $2.00 in August. The price they charge is so not worth it but the $2.00 I can say it was they had a Blast. We even took there little buddy Easton.

So that is what has happen and Also Daddy started school up at the U. So by the time thursday comes around I am ready to scream and so that is my shopping night. But we have been surviving and having fun! I started twilight series and read the first the book and it was good starting the second book now! I will be away for a while seeing there is 4 books! I have gotten hooked.

An Old Young Womans Leader

As I have a facebook account Kami Tyler added me and I saw through her blog that a leader had passed away three weeks ago. Kathy Dorius was a GREAT leader when I just started young womans. Her son Josh and I were in every Primary Class together and Sunday school class. As we hit High school Josh and I became friends since I was the one that would get teased in Primary. It didn't bother me I just let them. I loved Kathy so much. I remember in high school though I saw there house go up for sale and Just about died. Thinking "where are they going, why are they moving, they can't move I love them, I will never see them". Then I was married right out of High school (which I love), my parents ended up moving not too long after that and as I had thought I would never see the Dorius again. I now missed the funeral for a Great lady that helped me into the transition to Young Womens. I will always love you Kathy and Miss you! May the lord Bless there Family through this tuff time.

Summer fun and then School!

To start the week that Bryson started school I decided I wanted to do something fun with him! So I asked my neighbor if she wanted to take her daughters (my kids best friend in the world) to Thanksgiving Point. We couldn't decide between the farm and the Discovery Land. We ended up doing the Barn. The kids had a blast riding the pony and feeding the animals especailly the goats! Dallyn was so good and was a little freaked out about the pony. I really wanted this picture of Bryson and Dallyn on the horse. I was lucky I got it but as the girl walked around to get Bryson off she saw Dallyn. She tells me "thats a big No no, that horse is known to buck" . Ok I was done had no idea and then why is my other son on that horse! So Bryson for his second pony ride stayed clear of him!
After the barn, 3 of Daddy's sisters were going to Seven Peaks, so I said sure "I can make it work I am super mom and Bryson will get to do lots of fun things before school". So as we got there the kids played in the water and a little before we were going , Daddy's sister was nice to watch Dallyn and I took my older two on the big purple slide! I still don't understand this but while were about to get on the life guard goes "shes sitting on your lap isn't she" "yea" I said
"Well you need to sit in front with her and have him in the back" Ok I said and I was totally confused but said whatever and did as I was told.
So the kids were having so much fun on the slide and then we hit the pool! Of course with all the weight in front oh we completely tip. As I was under the water, scrambling for my kids I found them both. Pulled Lil's to my chest and got hold of Bryson Jacket and lifted him up! We all made it up but all three of us were coughing up water HORRIBLY. Both life guards in the pool were just asking if we were ok and I was just furious as I could get and just bit my tounge and got out of the pool holding my kids and hugging them! That was the worst feeling having your kids in the pool of water and you are suppose to protect them. Granted they had life jacket on but still you are just frantic for them! So we talked about it and the kids still say "Purple slide was fun but Pool was scary! Least they still had fun even though I was freaked beyond belief!

As we got home from that, the kids bunkbeds arrived. Oh were they ever so excited. They waited for 2 weeks and they were counting down the days! I was so against putting Bryson and Lilly together but Dallyn had been waking up in the middle of the night and coming in bed with us. I never did that with Bryson or Lilly so it needed to stop. If Dallyn cried it would wake Bryson. So that was the option Bunkbed or my 5 year old go down stairs and he is freaked to go down by himself! I painted over Lilly's purple wall and made a kinda surfer room! They Love it!
School started. Mom was a little worried about it but I do feel better! Bryson had a blast at school. He said he played on the playground in the rain! I also found out that there will also be an resource aide in there for Bryson and 2 other little kids! That was my biggest relief. As I went to go pick him up, I asked the teacher how he did. She said Great and I said you think we could float this year and she said yea but some parts could be a stuggle but we will do it! So hopefully the rest of the week will go good! I still can't believe my little first born baby is now my kindergartener!
(Here is the famous Easton, Bryson and Lilly before school)
Sorry for such a long post so much happened in 2 short days but I think this will be it. Lilly starts school the 25!

Sunday dinner!

So we have been married for over 6 1/2 years and I think I just cooked my first REAL sunday dinner. We have usually been up at either one of our parents for Sunday Dinner. I will usually cook dinner but easy meals as most people may know but today I cooked a roast and corn on the cob for the first time. I also made twice baked potatoes. But after cooking a nice dinner I have realized my kids like the easy same old same old meals! Daddy loved having roast with the corn and Bryson sure does love corn on the cob! Daddy is actually excited also that I made a calander and will have home made meals for 2 weeks. Well see if I can keep this up. Usually its Wendy's or something cheap like 2 days a week. It has actually been fun planning the meals. It is amazing how much you save at the store if you have like a calander of dinners already planned out. Also, here is our backyard that we have been working so hard at. We still need to move the trampoline up to the playground but right now its not in the way! So, I guess were still working on it. We have always had the grass but no fence or the playground cause of the people upbove us would never do there yard. We still would never have been able to do this without the help of our neighbor Paul! He also finished his yard and it looks great. Now we finally have one yard done and then the other one is fenced so we don't look at the weeds and the little critters running around through our grass ( it was nasty)! So the kids are set now. Paul gave us sand for free, their swing set and the tramp!

Our Kids

sure do love my kids! They are so good and even when I get stressed they are still good! I can send them out to play and the will leave me alone! They love to play with 2 of their best friends Cadence and Easton! They also LOVE to take care of their little brother! I seriously was so afraid to have the 3rd child but now looking back at the last 9 month it has been great! Our family is complete! Dallyn is the happiest baby! I think having Dallyn has almost helped Bryson talk more! But all three of them play so well together I am excited for Dallyn to start crawling and chasing them :0)

Bryson is going in for his kindergarten assesment and I hope he will pass. He is very shy so this should be interesting but we have been building up that he gets a new teacher all summer and he is so excited!
One thing he told me that totally caught me off gaurd was on tuesday. I had told my kids to come in for lunch or to take a rest but anyhow I started to count
"one....... TWO....
"I am coming" bryson said!
"TWO...... TWO in a half....
"CALM DOWN MOM" bryson said!
I couldn't help not to just start laughing so hard! For him to say somethign along those lines was very impressive!
Also, we went to park city over the weekend. He was in desprate need of shorts for school. As I was looking in at Carters there is a lego table with 2 chairs. Bryson goes to sit down with Lilly.
Well, Lilly decided to run to dad and tell him what they were doing. A little boy then run to steal Lilly's chair and Daddy hears Bryson telling this kid off!
"No you cant sit there. My sisters sitting there.
You need to move. Thats my sister spot"

I was so shocked to hear what he said but then again he is always protecting Lilly!
Dallyn will be 9 MONTHS on sunday! I did his check last week while we happen to be at the doctor. He was 19 lbs 6 oz (35%tile) and 28 inch (32 %tile) and i don't remember what his head was but it was in teh 25% tile! Dallyn is my shorty and weighs the least! Dallyn is so funny he has started to try to get up on all 4! He hasn't figured out the crawling yet, he is almost there and lands on his tummy when he moves. He just rolls around!I love my kids and I would have never imagined me with 3 great kids!

Month of July

Well I haven't posted for a really long time and I can't believe now that July is just about over. We have had some fun times and some stressful and all of the above! After the 4th we packed up and went to Lake Powell and were suppose to be there for a week. There was a total of 40 people on the house boat and 12 people ended up gettin ghte 24 hour stomach bug. Two of those people was Daddy and my poor little Dallyn. Dallyn ended up coming with it and through up the night before we left. But as for being in 110 degree weather Dallyn would only eat 4 oz and that was Screaming and didn't want to eat. So finally on Wednesday we made the decision to leave that night. We ended up getting home at 1 AM. Bryson was not happy leaving nor was Lilly. Bryson was a complete fish. His life jacket had rubbed his poor chin raw and had scabs all over! It was a good thing we decided to leave cause Bryson then started to complain his ear hurt. So I took him to the doc on Friday and he had double ear infection and was put on antibotics. Throught the weekend he was still complaining so I was like that should have been helping by now but we went back in on monday and his ear canal was infected so we had to do drops. I can't imagine if we had stayed and he was in the water all day thursday! He was seriously in that water every minute except to eat!
We also had Miss Lilly's 4th birthday. She wanted to go to the zoo. So both grandparents met us up there and we went to the zoo. She had so much fun but it sure was hot. I still can't believe my little baby girl is 4!
We have been working on the yard and got a fence and boy was that a fun haha... Daddy said it wasn't that bad. I still need to take a picture of the yard now but boy I have a backyard now. As some people may not know but the people up above us have like a 8 foot drop so we raised the fence 2 feet so he could eventually do his yard, yea right cuase its been 5 years and there are 10 foot weeds back there and mouse infested its gross. The fence hides all of that and now I have a Yard! Thanks to our neighbor for all the help!

Bryson my first child is NOW going to kindergarten starting on Monday, I am starting to freak here a little. Where do I drop him off, Where do I pick him up at with all the other moms?
All in all Lake powell was fun, it was fun working in the yard with my husband and watching the kids play, going to the zoo but I am sure glad that the hottest month is almost over!

Own Beach

Ok so our neighbor is a great guy but man Mommy was done with the sand! Our neighbor is doing his yard and actually helped us finish our playground (pic coming soon on that) but he ordered 40 TONS of sand and it was dumped in front of my house. Lets just say our house is covered in sand and it needs a deep cleaning. The kids in are circle had a blast but the sand is almost gone I bet all the moms are glad!

While one the neighbor friend was here, her son acidentely hit bryson with a metal shovel in the back but seeing how a GREAT guy our neighbor is he actually grabbed Bryson and took him for a ride in the Skeedster and boy did that make it all better and he forgot all about his owie! He had the biggest grin on his face the whole time. We are so lucky to actually have a good neighbor now.

Also we have gone to the splash park out by us and the kids love it. Dallyn sat in his bumbo seat as for he HATED the water! The other kids just ran and ran. We had the whole splash pad to ourselves. It was great. We want to go check out more splash parks though.

I had to add this picture cause Dallyn loves to do this birdy call I swear and while he does it he squeezes his eys and his nose and his mouth is wide open. After trying and trying we finally got it on video.
