Laundry!

I always try to fold laundry or put it away when my little munchkin is asleep. Reason why he loves to help and take out everythign I fold. I have the hardest time putting the clothes away to begin with but Daddy was in our room and Sweet little Dallyn would take 1 sock here and there and go take then to Daddy to put away! He was going back and forth back and forth.
All done Mommy! I sure do love these moments when I just laugh at how cute they can all be!

Bryson turns 6!

Sorry Kinda of a Long Post

Bryson my oldest boy turned 6 today and he grew up fast! Its still crazy to me that I am only 25 and I have a 6 year old already (guess thats what happens when you get married at 18 and had him at 19 :) )! I wish some days I can just shrink him back to the age Dallyn is but then I have to remind myself also, I was 7 1/2 month pregnant with Lilly! Anyhow .... Bryson came into the world 3 weeks early and was on oxygen for 2 full days and was lucky to come home with me with an IV in his arm!
Bryson in his Head box
Bryson is very lucky boy. At 4 month and 3 weeks old we almost lost him to SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome). It was June 20, 2003, we just got home from Insta Care and he was perfectly fine, I put him to bed like always. My cousin happened to go into the spare room and came out and said "I think he is still awake". I looked at Daddy and was like "why is he awake, I will go check on him". To my surprise Bryson had pulled a blanket over his head I was like "oh OK that's why he is crying". I pulled it down only to find my little boy gasping for air and he laid there life less and completely gray! I just picked him up screaming for Daddy and then just threw Bryson to Daddy and ran for the phone! Long story short he did have some damage since he was in metabolic acidosis but luckily nothing permanent! The only sign now that we have is the speech and we are working on that and he is doing great!
Bryson in the ICU at Primarys
Anyhow I feel so blessed to have Bryson as my son and am thankful that it was not his time to go home! Bryson and I have our moments but thats because our personality's are SO MUCH alike but he is so much fun. But we are still best friends! He is also a clone of his Daddy (but looking at the picture below he does look alot like me to! They look so much a like and he does have some of his Daddy's personality too. He has the happy go lucky but can have mommy's stubbornness! . Bryson Loves to go out and play in the circle with the kids. He loves his bike. He has gotten into the Hulk and Star wars. He loves school and boy mom can't wait for him to go back on Wednesday! He loves to go to the park, go bowling, ride his bike, hiking, camping, fishing and anything that is outdoors! He loves his brother and sister so much!
As we just moved the kids downstairs, I had to make sure they knew what to do with the fire alarm. So, we did a fire drill! He is such the big boy he opens the blinds and the window, Helps Lilly out the window and up the ladder! I hope we never see a fire but I know he will if he has too THROW Lilly out that window (Lilly is still a little scared of the fire drill)! Of course when we did the fire drill I made sure they had shoes on! As we were going upstairs (he put his shoes right by the stairs for some reason) I asked him
"why are you leaving your shoes there" Mommy
"so I can run out here and get my shoes and run to the window" Bryson
I could not help but to laugh! So I started to think I need a cheap pair of flip flops to keep under his bed for him :) just in case of a fire.
Dallyn looks up to him so much it is crazy! Bryson will always help me with him except change his poopy diaper :) He loves to make him laugh and play blocks with him. It seriously doesn't bother him that there is a 5 year age difference! He can't wait to share bunk beds with him.. hopefully that one will last! Dallyn loves to take a bath with Bryson. He goes crazy in the tub!
We had his family Birthday part last Sunday and he wanted a catapillar cake! I think it turned out great and he loved it!He also got from my mother in law (I swear his favorite present) this little helicopter and that is how he blew out his candles! Everyone and myself was laughing cause it was too funny! He is such a crazy kids! I hope you have a Great birthday my little Stinker, and Bubbie! Mommy and Daddy Love you tons!

The weekend of Crazy-ness

This post would have been on ALOT sooner but when Bryson goes back on Wednesday he will be the Star student! So I had to make his poster board and it took alot of time getting it just the way I wanted it! This is how it turned out! I love it and can't wait for him too see it in the morning!

So as I did my quick post of moving my children to the basement I did it! Last night was their first night sleeping and as they told daddy, "we didn't sleep real good". Too bad they will get used to it. Apparently Lilly even woke Bryson up to go to the bathroom. Least she didn't pee the bed and wasn't crying so I must say it was GREAT! There will be a beach mural scene with a surf board and tikki hut painted on the big wall between the beds! But seriously there room is twice the size of what it was upstairs and now they have basically there own space!
I have to say though I am very impressed with their room it turned out GREAT! Also, the closet I did All myself. Cut the wood and put it up level! Daddy was at school and work the entire time. Yes I had help from Bryson and Lilly helping with Dallyn!

We now have an office upstairs, where I can scrapbook or sew, and we moved the elliptical in there too. Daddy had to basically take it all apart to move it like 20 feet to the room! So we can also work out! But hey even though this weekend was crazy I still feel like we got rid of some junk (yes more can go) but we are using the house so much more!
As for the stairs we still have to use the baby gate, but I take it off at night! We have been trying to teach Dallyn stairs but he thinks it is a game. He likes to slide down on his tummy but then climb right back up! Any suggestion cause I really want to take the gate off so the kids feel a little better and not like they are blocked off even though they know how to open it!

Week of crazy and fun!

I have learned one thing from last week. After a Crazy Tueday I said "I am not going anywhere tomorrow" well not even 2 minutes later the phone rings and It was my neighbor just letting me know some people in our neighborhood was going to the temple. She said I know it might not work for you but I said no I will be there I will make it work. Daddy ended up coming home to take care of the kids. It was a Great day.

But you think I would have learned my lesson. Thursday I had to run Bryson to bowling, Lilly to school, then went to the Zoo and then finally home. I told him that night also "I am not going anywhere" again.. Well friday was going good and I didn't go anywhere until Daddy's sister called and said I am going to cabelas to look at the animals you guys want to come. Of course the kids were excited and we went. So both days last week I didn't get to stay home. But with a lesson learned don't answer the phone if you want to STAY HOME!

One night last week we were about to sit down and have dinner and the kids said "No the Brady Bunch is on". That coming from a 5 and 4 year old. Yeah its a good show but never imagined them to like The Brady Bunch! They sing the song and it is hillarious!
Then also Dallyn started folding his arms when one of the kids dinner prayer and even as he was trying to escape sunday school he stopped to fold his arms. He is so stinken cute at 14 months and folding his arms to pray! I just had to get a picture of this and he will only do it when someone says the prayer.
I also took the kids to the Zoo while it was warm well 40 and the kids had a blast. I have to admit that I texted daddy and said "the zoo is dead, no one here. Doubt animals will be out how stupid". Suprisingly ALL the animals were out and playful. The only ones we didn't see was the Rhino and the Zebras. All of the cats were active and we really only see them sleeping. As Lilly went up to one of the windows the Jaguar pawed the glass and scared the crap out of me and her. Somehow I thought it was going to get her. One of the monkeys even played with the kids at the window they thought that was so funny.

Here is Bryson finally able to go out and ride his New Green maching from Santa. He loves it!

Also, Dallyn has loved this vaccum and before he walked he would sit in his chair and vacuum. Now that he walks he is vacuuming all the time! He is so cute!

Christmas!

Christmas this year was fun! It was full of adventures and apparently thats all we like to have! It started at my aunts for Christmas Eve! The kids loved having Santa come except my baby! He would have nothing to do with Santa it was actually funny! The older two were happy! Dallyn loves stairs and actually climbed up them somehow got past Daddy and I and fell down them. Least he was ok.

Dallyn won't let go of me

Christmas PJ's
Then we went home and Bryson started complaining of his stomach hurting. We thought oh maybe it was some chicken that we stopped to get him. He ended up throwing up at 10, then at 2, then at 9 in the morning right after we opened presents. The poor kid wasn't really excited for anything, but could you blame. I felt horrible. He had been asking for months and I mean like 6 months for the Green Machine and Hulk Hands! All day he just layed around and that was about his holiday!
Lilly had been asking for a Doll crib and a new doll and Santa was good to her! She was so excited. She loved all of her presents and loves to play bowling on the WII.
Lilly with her doll crib and poor Bryson in the back
Dallyn oh Dallyn loves to climb so Santa brought him a Climbing gym. Hopefully he will stop climbing all over everything but probably not!

This was one of the best parts of Christmas for me! I suprised Daddy with a new ring. His ring has been too small for the last 6 years and so I got him a new one! He had no idea and I kept it a secret for about 2 weeks!

As we were headed up to my parents not even a half a mile from our house we got the Durango stuck! Yea, daddy told me this beast will never get stuck. FUNNY well it was! We stopped to help a chevy cobolt that couldn't even go on the road cause of all the snow! Well he didn't leave any room in case the car started to go. I knew that car would spin and hit us. So I moved the durnago up just a little and umm we were stuck. We dug out and it was very snowy! The last time we had this much snow they canceled church! It was horrible. I still don't know what is worse the roads up here or a blizzard!
On Saturday we took the kids sledding over at the park. They had so much fun then right after Bryson was saying his poor tummy hurt. We thought he was over it but all that sledding made it hurt again. But it was short lived and is all better!

Bryson Happy............... Dallyn Helping put
Sledding. .......................his Rocket together

All and all we had a good christmas and I am so thankful for everything that we have an the little extras. We feel very blessed to have the family's we have!

Snow Snow and more SNOW

As some of you have known we went to St. George for Daddy's birthday! We had a excellent time until we were coming home! We did a little hike and even got a family picture by putting the camera on a rock, went to see Santa, and TONS of swimming!

We also found this park in Coral Canyon that was totally Unbelievable, everything that a kid could ever want to play with. I wish we had parks like that! All the kids just loved it!

But Saturday when were were suppose to just drive home would have been 4 hour drive right, wrong! Daddy decided "oh lets go over to Glen Canyon Dam" (lake powell) show the kids. I said "no its suppose to snow and we will get stuck in a blizzard," but he won. Well in Hurricane he took a wrong turn, we ended up at Colorado City! We finally made it to the Damm and looked at it. Seeing that they no longer let you walk out on it and the last tour was at 3 (seeing it was 4), Daddy was disappointed that we drove that far!

As we left, we made it to Knab then on Highway 89 there was no warning at all, it was white out! BLIZZARD! All we could do is pray it was Scary! So half the way to Bryce we followed a semi truck and wow were we thankful. We were so scared and he ended up passing us so we could follow him! He pulled off and another semi took the lead, then a mini van, then us. Well the semi and the van were GONE in 5 seconds. We were left in the dust! We made it about 5 miles to the boys ranch by ourselves and there was a car in a ditch. Daddy pulled off to make sure they were ok and they were. But after praying there was MR. SEMI our friend again! We were able to follow him to Panguitch!

We thought about staying in Panguitch but I have something about little motels. One we went too was on top of the gas station. I said no my kids aren't sleeping there. THe other was the guys house and their kids running all over! So we ate dinner and it stopped snowing and we thought we could make it home! Off we were to head into the canyon again. One guy said take 89 all the way. HAHA yea right. Daddy decided to take Highway 20. It is a little road that is 8500 feet elevation! We were the only ones on it. 8% decline going down the hill. I kept looking at the miles and counting down. Ok we did 18 so 2 more. We made it out. Made it to Beaver and thought "ok we can stay in a bigger hotel there. Well the roads were ok so lets keep going". 3 miles out of Beaver I-15 was HORRIBLE with ice! So we made it to fillmore and thought "we should stay but the roads were clear and wasn't snowing". Funny again! BLIZZARD 2 came our way! Couldn't see a thing luckly it wasn't as bad as the first blizzard. We made it through the first one we can make it through anything and we did! We made it home finally after 13 HOURS IN THE CAR which was supposed to be 4 hours RIGHT.. Well it was for daddy's birthdya and he wanted an andventure and we sure got one!
Now, after that adventure I am better about driving in the snow but I have to admit, The roads up here are nasty! That little tiny road I-20 that was covered was so much better then the roads up here! We haven't figured out why but maybe cuase it as fresh snow and now all slush with a zillion cars. Don't know but its weird! We just know that we can make it through anything!

Next the snow this week. My kids have been out all week loving it and having fun with our hill in the backyard. Today we went bowling with daddy's parents the kids were so excited and of course my camera died I was so made! It was alot of fun and the kids loved it! Bryson wants to do a bowling clinic for the kids that go off track in jan. We will have to do somethign seeing he is off for 6 weeks hopefully I can make it :)

Thats has what has been going on at our house. Just playing, a little girl doing her hair, little Boy playing in tupperware and walking all over the place, and building snowmen. What else are we suppose to do with all this snow. Now the kids are all excited for christmas. Bryson keeps asking Santa for green bike that has steering AKA The Green Machine, Lilly wants a Doll and Doll crib, and Bryson and Lilly say Dallyn wants Diapers. How fun for the poor baby!

*** We will be going private eventually. I am trying out the tracking before we go private. I still have all your emails :)
